Description: Human skeletal muscle cells are derived from whole muscle that has been dissociated into single cells and frozen. These muscle cells are from a single donor. They enable researchers to produce various cell types found in skeletal muscle with standard published protocols. Human skeletal muscle cells may be used for various types of in vitro, in vivo, or regenerative medicine studies in normal or diseased systems. In addition, they may be used in muscle development studies.
DMD is a recessive X-linked form of muscular dystrophy characterized by rapid progression of muscle degeneration.
Origin: Human Disease: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)
Application: These cells can be used for various types of in vitro, in vivo, or regenerative medicine studies in normal or diseased systems and in muscle development studies.
