This introductory course teaches you about "bridgebuilding" (also called bridging). It’s about bringing different kinds of people together with respect and understanding. Bridging helps build trust and work toward shared goals. Over time, it can strengthen communities and create a more welcoming, connected society.
You’ll learn about reaching new people, building trust, creating belonging, and facilitating connection at your library. As an introductory course, it provides a high-level overview of these concepts, paired with concrete examples along the way.

- Identify moments in your everyday work where bridgebuilding can happen.
