Throughout this course, you'll have the chance to become a leader in creating meaningful, community-based summer services that transform lives and strengthen communities.

Course objectives

By the end of this course, learners will be able to: 

  • Describe the importance of facilitating community-based summer services

  • Recognize why reflection and iteration are essential to building community-based summer practices and services

  • Assess their current summer services to determine opportunities to reimagine them with a community focus
