The Build a Better Library Website Boot Camp is designed to provide library staff with the knowledge, tools, and support to improve their websites. Its purpose is to empower library staff tasked with initiating an internal redesign or design project, contribute to decision making on a website committee, or continue with additional training on specific website technology. Participants
will learn about key aspects of User Experience, visual design principles, and the web design process, which involves multiple audiences and stakeholders.
The Build a Better Library Website Boot Camp was created by the New Jersey State Library and made possible in part by a 2020 award from the Catalyst Fund at LYRASIS. It is modeled on the New Jersey State Library’s UX Boot Camp, an in-person training
program that launched in 2019.
